How to become a Subscriber

To really get the best out of the forum and potentially open up job opportunities and discounts, you simply need to become a SMART Hub Subscriber, or a member of the SHS (not the Smart Hit Squad...) 😁. Here's how to do it:

1. Click on your Member name at the top right of the page. A white drop down box appears.
2. Click on "Account Upgrades"
3. Click on the word "Purchase" that appears in the small grey box next to the words "Subscriber £85 for 1 year"
4. Enter your card details in the box that appears at the top of your screen in the following order: Long Card number (no gaps), Expiry date (MM/YY) 3 digit Security number on the back of your card (CVC)
5. Click on "Pay £85" in the grey box, and your payment will be taken.

Please note that the forum is held on a secure website (https), and your payment/card details are fully secure. The initial joining fee & first years subscription is £85 inclusive of VAT. Second & subsequent annual subscription rates will be £60, unless otherwise notified. Once you reach your second years subscription date, we can set this to auto renew if you wish.

Any questions please ask here, as answers may help others in future.

Thank you.

Hi Clive, I see that I need to pay £85 in order to upgrade forum membership to ‘potentially’ open up job opportunities, but the basic forum seems very quiet and I’m wondering if there are really enough job opportunities to justify this investment?

Regards,
Simon

Hello Simon,
Yes the forum is quiet at the moment, and I can't guarantee that there will be many opportunities coming through from other people, however we do occasionally have need for surveyors that we have trained to carry out heat loss surveys for us. Additionally of course, you do get the bespoke heat loss tool that's branded to you/your company and has many more heat pump manufacturers listed.

Entirely your choice, but it is early days yet for the forum, and the industry is heading for some serious growth. Every time we run training courses we poitn people in the direction of this forum as a knowledge sharing hub, so I'm confident it will grow and become a useful resource.
