Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to give you a bit of a heads up on some proposed training and CPD course we have in the pipeline over the coming months.
BPEC/LCL Awards Heat Pump Course.
First, we are very pleased to announce an association with a major heat pump manufacturer, which will see us providing much of their heat pump training in the near future onwards. This will be the redesigned heat pump course that will be part of the requirements for MCS accreditation going forward, and we will be able to offer this as a locally based training session using our demonstration trailer and local conference facilities. More news as soon as we have further info.
Heat Loss Surveying & Calculations - The Heat Loss Master Class
We will be putting together a Master Class course aimed primarily at surveyors, but also anyone involved in carrying out surveys/heat loss calculations. This will take your knowledge to the next level in terms of understanding building fabrics and their U-Values, drawing up floorplans using Magicplan, dealing with complex room shapes and house layouts, reducing the amount of time it takes to complete the spreadsheet, and ensuring accuracy with speed of completing the survey & calculations. Expected to run this course in late July/early August.
MCS Accreditation Masterclass
Subject to demand, we will put together a Master Class course detailing everything you need to know to apply for your MCS accreditation to become either an MCS Heat Pump Designer, or an MCS Heat Pump Installer (or even both!). As soon as we have confirmed details from Ofgem/MCS etc over the structure of the new accreditations we will put these courses together and let you know when they will be running.
